Sheer Lash & Beauty is a home based personal service facility inspected by Alberta Health Services Environmental Public Health and operates in accordance with applicable personal service requirements.Illness: Please reschedule if you are feeling unwell. Wearing a mask does not exempt clients from this policy. Clients arriving sick may have their appointment cancelled, with applicable fees.Pets: The studio is located in a pet friendly home with a cat and dog. The lash studio is a designated pet free space. Please advise of any pet allergies before booking.Allergies & Sensitivities: Allergic reactions may occur even if you have previously worn lash extensions without complications. A Patch Test is recommended for first time clients or anyone with sensitivity concerns, although it cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.Allergic reactions and individual sensitivities are not generally eligible for service refunds.

Natural Lash Requirements: Extensions require sufficient healthy natural lashes for safe application. Results depend on your natural lash condition and strength.Styling & Application: Your lash artist will determine the appropriate extension length, weight, curl, and coverage. Requested styles may be adjusted to protect your natural lashes.Service Suitability: Services may be modified, postponed, or refused if application could compromise your eye health, surrounding skin, or natural lashes.Health Disclosure: Please disclose relevant allergies, sensitivities, eye conditions, recent eye procedures, medications, or health changes that may affect your service.Results and retention vary between clients and cannot be guaranteed.

Retention Concerns: Report unusual or excessive lash loss within 48 hours of your appointment for assessment. Fees may apply after this timeframe.Fill Timing: Fill pricing is based on the booking window since your previous appointment, rather than an exact number of days.Minimum Retention: At least 40% of your extensions must remain to qualify for a fill. Otherwise, a Full Set will be required and charged accordingly.Maximum Fill Window: Fills are available up to 3 weeks after your previous appointment. Appointments beyond this period require a Full Set.Foreign Fills: Extensions applied by another lash artist require the $40 Foreign Fill Add On and additional appointment time.If the required add on is not booked, your appointment may be adjusted, charged accordingly, or rescheduled. Foreign fills cannot be guaranteed without sufficient appointment time.

Booking Deposits: A deposit is required to secure your appointment and is applied toward the total appointment balance.Remaining Balance: Any outstanding balance is due immediately after your service unless prepaid.Cancellations & Transfers: Deposits and prepaid amounts are subject to the Cancellations, Rescheduling & Late Arrivals policy.Special Appointments: Appointments outside regular hours, on weekends, or on statutory holidays have additional deposit and payment requirements. Please review Outside Regular Hours & Holiday Bookings.Accepted Payments: Cash, Interac eTransfer, credit or debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Sheer Lash eGift Cards.

Cancellation & Rescheduling FeesFees are based on the amount of notice provided:24+ hours notice: No fee.12 to less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the scheduled appointment price.Less than 12 hours notice: 100% of the scheduled appointment price.Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours notice require approval. Applicable fees must be paid before a new appointment can be confirmed.No ShowsAppointments missed without notice are subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled appointment price.Late ArrivalsLess than 15 minutes late: Your service may be shortened to accommodate the remaining time. The full appointment price still applies.15+ minutes late: Your appointment may be cancelled if insufficient time remains to safely complete the service. A 100% cancellation fee will apply.Deposits, Prepayments & TransfersDeposits and prepaid amounts will be applied toward applicable fees. Any eligible remaining balance will be refunded or may be transferred to a new appointment once.Nonrefundable and nontransferable booking portions for appointments outside regular hours, on weekends, or on statutory holidays will be retained regardless of notice and cannot be transferred. These amounts count toward applicable cancellation fees, rather than being charged additionally.Any further rescheduling request after the first transfer will be treated as a cancellation, with fees based on the notice provided. A new booking will be required.Additional ConditionsFees are calculated using the scheduled service price, including applicable extended hours, weekend, or statutory holiday booking fees.Rescheduling does not waive applicable cancellation fees.After repeated late arrivals, late cancellations, or no shows, 100% prepayment may be required for future appointments. All standard policies remain applicable.Any applicable fees or additional booking requirements will be disclosed before appointment confirmation.

The latest available start time depends on the service duration.Weekend & Statutory Holiday AppointmentsAppointments outside regular operating days are subject to the following flat booking fees:Lash Fill Appointments: $50Full Lash Set Appointments: $60Only one additional booking fee applies per appointment. Weekend, holiday, and extended hours fees are not combined.Additional Booking TermsAll special appointments are subject to availability and studio approval.Booking fees are subject to applicable taxes and confirmed before booking.Discounts, promotions, and loyalty rewards may not apply.All appointments remain subject to the studio's policies.

Unsafe Travel Conditions: If severe weather makes travel unsafe, please contact Sheer Lash & Beauty as soon as possible.Policy Exceptions: Rescheduling fees and nonrefundable booking restrictions may be waived at the studio's discretion when unsafe travel conditions are reasonably established.Deposits & Prepayments: If an exception is approved, eligible payments will be credited toward a rescheduled appointment. Any prepaid gratuity will be refunded.Rescheduling Deadline: A new appointment date must be arranged within 14 days of the original appointment for the credit to remain valid. The appointment itself may take place after this period, subject to availability.Personal Circumstances: Cancellations or rescheduling requests unrelated to unsafe travel remain subject to the standard cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Earning & Redeeming: Loyalty points are earned on eligible completed and paid services and may be redeemed for qualifying fill appointments or lash care rewards.Reward Restrictions: Points have no cash value, are nontransferable, and cannot be combined with other offers unless approved.Special Appointments: Reward redemptions for appointments outside regular business hours, on weekends, or on statutory holidays require prior approval.For earning details, available rewards, and complete terms, please visit the Loyalty Program page.

Refunds: Completed services are generally nonrefundable, subject to applicable consumer protection rights.Appearance Concerns: Report concerns about your lash styling or final results within 24 hours of your appointment. Complimentary adjustments may be offered following technician assessment.Retention Concerns: Unusual or excessive lash loss must be reported within 48 hours of your appointment. Please review Fills & Retention for additional details.Allergic Reactions: If you experience a suspected allergic reaction, please contact Sheer Lash & Beauty as soon as possible.
